日本食の製造会社で、商品開発に従事してくれるスタッフを募集しています。商品の企画立案、商品コンセプトの具体化、試作開発・評価、製造検討・量産化開発、品質保証・安全性確認、パッケージ開発、最終承認、商品化というような工程を、新製品開発の熱意をもって取り組んでくれる方を探しています。主な仕事内容は下記となります。
We are seeking a staff member to join our product development team at a Japanese food manufacturing company.
We are looking for an individual who is passionate about developing new products and can actively participate in all stages of the product development process, including product planning, refining product concepts, prototype development and evaluation, manufacturing feasibility studies and scale-up development, quality assurance and safety verification, packaging development, final approval, and commercialization.
The primary responsibilities of this position include the following:

Basic Tasks
• Understand Facility Capabilities & Product History.
• Understand Company Direction & Business Plan.
• Related Meeting Preparations & Participations.
• Related Sample & Document preparations.
• Maintain Clean & Organized Work Environment (Digital Folders, Your own desk, Test Kitchen, Storage, etc.).
Product Development
• Formulate Benchtop Recipe of New Products.
• Revise Recipe for Improvements on Existing Products.
• Communicate with Vendors, Clients, and External Partners to achieve goals.
• Create Samples & Cost Calculations.
• Create Product HACCP Plans.
• Perform assigned Product Quality Control - Shelf life, Sensory, etc.
• Lead Production Trials & Assist in Corrective Actions as needed.
• Lead and liaison between multiple departments with all aspects of Product Launch.
• Annual Review of Documentation Files.

• Create & Maintain Labels for all Company Products.
• Create & Maintain Spec Sheets for all Company Products.
• Be knowledgeable of applicable Regulations.
• Be proactive on Information Accuracy.
• Annual Review of Information Files.

応募資格
日本食の知識があり、商品開発の経験のある方、大歓迎です。
A. Education and experience:
• Bachelor’s degree (in Food Science or related field is preferred).
• Food Safe Level 1 would be an asset, but the company can provide training courses.
B. Knowledge, skills, and abilities required:
• Knowledge of Food Preparations (Knowledge in Japanese Food is a plus)
• Knowledge of HACCP is a plus.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office & Digital Literacy.
• Excellent Communication Skills Both Written & Verbal.
• Ability to lift 25lbs.
• Recommended No Food Allergy.
